Alexis Zambrano (b. 1988) is a Mexican-American artist whose work revolves around multiple but converging axes: studies of space through architecture, the collecting of culturally rich antiques, the spirituality that entails the different systems of beliefs, and the trajectory of objects from the private to the public and vice versa.
Zambrano’s work has been shown internationally with solo shows at PEANA (Monterrey, MX); Pinto Gallery (Manila, PH), and Gericke + Paffrath (Dusseldorf, DE). Zambrano has also completed residencies at Mildred’s Lane (Pennsylvania, USA) and Palazzo Monti (Brescia, Italy).
