With A Gathering of Watchers, Seers and Geists Discussing the Probability of Them Experiencing True Light Public Service Gallery presents at the same time the first gallery solo show in Stockholm by the 2019 Maria Bonnier Dahlin Foundation Grant Recipient Olof Marsja and the first exhibition in the capital by the Göteborg based art gallery and project NEVVEN. Bringing together fifteen works encompassing the production of Marsja’s past two years and touching on all of his most important series, A Gathering of Watchers, Seers and Geists Discussing the Probability of Them Experiencing True Light is a unique opportunity to encounter one of the most exciting new voices in Swedish contemporary art. Mixing humour and politics, a unique capacity to manipulate space and form and a profound involvement into the materials and crafts of his Sámi background, Marsja exhibits a selection of the magic and eerie sculptures that has established his practice in some of the most important collections, public and private, in the North.
